The Four Foundations of Mindfulness for Yoga Teachers with Sarah Jane Shangraw
This introduction to the Buddhist teachings and practice from which mindfulness is derived is for yoga asana teachers who would like to bring mindfulness into their teaching appropriately and with confidence. Expanding understanding and practice of these inner methods will also benefit any dedicated yoga asana practitioner. In addition to the common format of didactic teaching, guided meditation, and Q&A, each class will include a yoga/mindfulness practice to demonstrate techniques for layering body-based and contemplative methods.
