A Unique Approach to Education

To the best of the trainers knowledge, this is the first 200-hour yoga teacher training to be completely free. The creators of this training, Noel Coakley (he/him), and Ling Beisecker (she/ her), are committed to social justice and strive to be of service to each other, our community, and the world. Noel and Ling strived to find a way to support individuals who may not normally be able to afford the education required to become a yoga teacher trainer. By donating their time, resources, and energy, the two collaborated to offer a free teacher training for for serious students and aspiring teachers.

Have you always wanted to deepen your yoga practice and become a teacher, but the financial strain of committing to a teacher training (~3000+ in Boston) was too much?

Do you have a mission and goal of how you intend to share the practice with others?

The expectation is that you will be giving back during the training (i.e. volunteering in your community) in exchange for education.

Are you in a place where you can commit to 9 weekend trainings (Sat + Sun) from Sept 2019 - May 2020 in Newton, MA?

If you answered yes to the previous questions, please email Ling Beisecker, E-RYT 200, at labeisecker@gmail.com to apply for the teacher training. The application process is two-fold with a screening application followed by invitations for in-person interviews. Space is limited.

$5-20 suggested dhana (donation)

It is the mission of the Boston Center for Contemplative Practice to provide balanced financial accessibility to our services. We believe that what we offer should be for everyone. We offer scholarships for our professional trainings and we offer a 3-tiered, self-selecting pricing system for events and classes.
