What is Qigong? Qi means "energy" as well as "breath" Gong is a general term meaning "work" or "skill" Qigong could be translated as "breathing exercise" or "energy work" People watching qigong see slow, graceful movement or simple stretches. But, there is a lot more to qigong than meets the eye. What you can see and witness in a qigong practice is only the surface of a much deeper and potent internal power.
Qigong comprises a diverse set of practices that coordinate body, breath, and mind based on the Taoist philosophy. The practice of Qigong rolls back the clock on the damage done by stress and the sedentary lifestyles, promoting health and long life. Qigong helps to expand the range and power of the diaphragm.
Tao Master Arthur has 25 years of practice and teaching. He has been recognized and ordained by Grandmaster Zhang Ming Xin of the oldest continuously operating Taoist temple in the world at Qingcheng Mountain in Chengdu, China. Master Arthur is the founder of California Tao, a Taoist organization that works with individuals and executive teams to maximize success through contentment.
